Flats: Waterfront Luxury with Spectacular Views

Across the lagoon from the Golf Villas, you’ll find the modern, tropical flats, with four bedrooms and four full bathrooms on the waterfront, or two bedroom/two bathroom flats on a paved ‘boardwalk’. The larger, condo-like flats have a real wow factor, with breathtaking views of the lagoon, expansive balconies, and modern amenities; we loved the open design and the way the water from the lagoon reflects light inside.

With thoughtfully designed common areas that accommodate seating for all guests, fully equipped kitchens (11 of everything!), a washer and dryer, and a mix of bedroom configurations, these large flats offer a comfortable and enjoyable stay for both families and large groups. Perfect for big meals, game nights, and resting between adventures, this was one of my favorite places for people to stay at the resort. While they don’t overlook the lagoon, the two-bedroom flats are just as gorgeous and well-appointed, with two floors separated by stairs, while the larger condos are accessible by elevator.

Houses: Spacious Retreats with Unmatched Amenities

Need even more space? Maybe even your own private pool? Or a movie theater? The houses at Evermore Orlando deliver! Ranging from five to 11 bedrooms with five to 13 en suite bathrooms and capable of accommodating anywhere from 15 to 32 people, these Neo-Traditional residences have plenty of room for large families and groups. Each house comes with a private heated pool, an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, washer and dryer, in-room safes, a mixture of bedroom configurations and oversized common areas. You can also find houses with ping pong tables, a ‘media theater’ with loungers and cornhole in the outdoor area; of course the beach and resort amenities are all included. 

They also have ADA-compliant offerings and have really considered safety here: each house has an actual fire pull; an old-school fire alarm as well as an alarm that you have to push if you walk out the back door into the pool area. It’s high enough to be out of reach for kids, to keep them from getting out to the pool. Remember, these houses are not timeshares, they are part of the resort, which makes them easier to book and enjoy.

Part of the esteemed Hilton brand ( generally more common in Europe), the Conrad Hotel offers a modern twist on luxury accommodation, distinguishing itself from its counterpart, the Ritz Carlton. With sleek, modern design elements and contemporary aesthetics, the Conrad Hotel features free-flowing, rounded edges that mirror the lagoon, creating a calming, organic effect. 

Upon entering, we were greeted by an attentive and high-end staff, with service and client relations on the level of a Four Seasons, though it offers a price point somewhere between the Deluxe at Disney and a Four Seasons resort. However, it offers more bars and restaurants and other amenities than the Disney property, which I loved. 

There’s Apéro, a stylish lobby bar serving dishes from Sophia’s, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, or the Papaya Club, a modern tiki bar offering an eclectic menu of island-inspired cuisine and creative, modern tropical drinks (aka, not to sweet!). You also have Little Spoon for coffee and pastries created by an award-winning pastry chef, along with yogurt, bowls, charcuterie, wine and more.

Don’t miss Ceiba, a traditional Mexican restaurant aiming to be one of the 50 best tequila restaurants in the world; with over 100 tequilas and well on their way to 200, as well as a tequila sommelier!

You also have a private pool exclusive to Conrad guests, private balconies with amazing views, convenient transportation services, and a massive conference center designed to accommodate events of all sizes. The conference rooms are on the other side of the hotel from the main guest areas, so you won’t see much overlap. If you’re seeking wellness and rejuvenation, the Conrad Hotel also offers a state-of-the-art gym equipped with Peloton bikes, cardio machines, and weight training equipment, as well as spa treatments with access to hot and cold baths.

Families traveling with children will appreciate the hotel’s children’s club, which offers educational programs highlighting the natural wonders of Florida.
